I invented Jerry the Nerky Lizard in Year 9 typing class back in the tumultuous mid-80s. He briefly re-emerged in the mid-nineties as part of the fledgling strips that starred my other anthropomorphic pre-mammalian chordate character, The Fish.
The Lives and Times of Jerry the Nerky Lizard is a closer look at the parallel universe existences of this enigmatic reptilian creature. In this examination I was ably assisted by some of the luminaries of Australian comics, including Bernard Caleo, Kieran Mangan, Tim Danko, Peter Savieri and Jo Waite.
If you like what you see below there’s copies of this comic for sale in the shop. And I’m also up for swapping if that’s your way of doing things – just contact me via the reply form at the bottom of this page and we’ll talk swap.
