A few publication opportunities that have come across the desk in the last little while:
- qarrtsiluni is looking for poems about “words of power” from now until the 31st of August, for publication in mid-September. I just came across this journal recently. It’s got a nice playful tone, and each poem is accompanied by a recording of the poet reading the work in question.
- cordite is looking for poems for their forthcoming “Epic” issue as part of their quest for “…long, longish, and/or very, very long poems about all things macrocosmic – mythology, history, war, love, politics, the end of the world as we know it”. Submissions close October 9.
- Identity Theory has opened up their gates for the first time in a while. They’re looking for poems about money for this latest submission round, open until the end of September. They’re also still looking for some new poetry editors, so if you’ve been looking for a special online literary journal to inflict your own inherent editorial bias onto, this could be “the one”.
I’m glad I ‘strayed’ into your blog–a bit late for the “words of power” call for submissions but delighted that I’ll read more of your postings.
