Sure, it’s an ad for his book, Things We Didn’t See Coming (which is a very good book if you like well-written post-apocalyptic short story collections with continuous narrative threads full of subtlety, suspense and deft characterisation, that sort of thing), but it’s a nice neat little gimmick – much cleverer than some of the dreadful book trailers out there at the moment.
